Although many people don't realize that page images are used somewhere else but there subconscious instinct would ask let them get off from the page as its  

• its boring
• disturbing feel

i have seen this hand shake in about 100 websites, ( i swear my self the next time gonna see this i am gonna close my browser )

whenever designer search for topics like  "clients", "relationship" they repeat this stuff

i don't  know  weather you know about basics of graph or not ,but u should have surely come across this

How to avoid it

To check weather your stock image is overused before buying, by just downloading and upload it on Google images 

if you get something like the above too many results then its been overused on web then you have to go to new photograph

By doing this you are re checking the overall usage of your stock before you buy
